It's not another place for entertainment but way more important. It's the Tampa General Brandon Healthplex. It's a new healthcare option for those in Eastern Hillsborough County.The hospital calls it the first free-standing adult and pediatric emergency room. This is very significant because Tampa General is not the easiest hospital to navigate especially in an emergency. The Brandon Healthplex will host a helipad, surgery center, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, and physician offices. The hospital says healthplex will provide easy access to outpatient ambulatory care. The facility is conveniently located off the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway that may benefit patients but also the healthplex.
